Canning peaches

Zaiger Genetics created the flat peaches PENNTO series which has enjoyed a real success in California. Following a period of further tests, a new series known under the name SAUZEE® has been offered European growers.
This series’ fruits mature from end of May to September. Most of them have a white flesh known to present the best taste and fragrance. Flavoursome yellow flesh varieties exist too, but consumers seem to be more attracted by white flesh fruit.
Although Zaiger Genetics did an intensive selection work on nectarines, cracking issues have not been completely addressed, especially during very wet summers.
Please see below a selection of our varieties. Remember that we test and add new ones on a yearly basis.
Peaches, nectarines and cling stones.
