IPS Carmingo® in South Africa
12/04/2022IPS South Africa organised and hosted a Carmingo® post season information
day on a farm in the Koo Valley, where most of the Carmingo® plantings are.
In total 30 people attended. Growers, exporter, technical people and experts in the fields of Nets and soil health attended. All the above people gave presentations on their different experiences of the past season.
The main aim was to discuss and share where we think we can improve the project as well as the potential of Carmingo® in South Africa.
Some of the main objectives were to increase plantings(more hectares), improve production and pack outs for export as well as to improve on all production inputs like irrigation.
Exporters share the great potential that Carmingo® has in the market both locally and international.
