IPS orchards in Murcia

16/05/2022

This first half of May, the new early selections of apricot and cherry have started to ripen in our site in Spain and visitors are present!

The beginning of the campaign began with the visit of our partner NEWCOT®, breeder of apricot varieties from the CARMINGO® and RUBYNGO® ranges. Together, our work continues to develop the varietal excellence of our varieties in order to provide the best to producers and consumers.

Then Viveros Mariano Soria, the Agromillora group (including Morocco, Tunisia and Turkey offices) and a group of customers from Morocco came to share knowledge and experience by coming to our plots to discover the early cherry Royal Tioga. – cov and some new selections of apricots.

And finally, our Almond range is growing with the presentation of 2 new varieties developed by CEBAS and published by IPS. These are FLORIDA and ALASKA which, together with INDEPENDENCE® - ALM21, form the largest family of soft-shelled almonds on the market!
