Carmingo® & Rubyngo® in South Africa
20/11/2022The first commercial Carmingo® variety was harvested on the 15/11/22.
This is the first harvest from a commercial orchard. This variety got its name Prerotea from the farm owner who started the first Carmingo® plantation in South Africa on Prerotea Farm in the Koo Valley.
The first Rubyngo® fruits, observed in the test blocks has been harvested on the 1/12/22. These are the first Rubyngo®’s fruits harvested in South Africa!!
