Ibergen Babyplum®
25/09/2022The Ibergen® plum range has proven its remarkable taste qualities this season. The partnership with IPS will bring to develop both a market and production orchards simultaneously.
Thanks to the great experience of Juan Negueroles, the Ibergen® selection program was born 12 years ago in Northern Spain (Castellón y Zaragoza). The program was therefore able to take into account different pedoclimatic environments, in terms of cold hour, soil texture, temperature... The objective of this selection program is to obtain varieties that are excellent in taste, firm, in size and attractive color, across an entire varietal calendar. This is done today with the Ibergen® IberPlum® and Babyplum® range (https://ibergen.es/).
The partnership with IPS will make it possible to select the best of this range, which already seems to adapt well to the conditions of the Rhône Valley. IPS will develop these varieties which are excellent in taste and exceptional in presentation in Europe and abroad.
