Polaris® and SGPR_B8_60 (cov)

On August 9, Polaris® visited Montélimar. This plum, selected in South Africa, stands out for its incredibly fruity and fragrant taste, its high conservation potential and its large fruit size. Planted recently in France, it begins to be spoken about among the distributors. Its pollination can be done by Honey Crisp (cov) which comes on the Crimson Glo (cov) slot, a yellow variety that does not mark and has an impressive post harvest behaviorl. Otherwise, it is the SGPR_B8_60 (cov) variety that stands out for its incredible production potential. Regular, productive, holding up well to frost, with a uniform caliber over the entire length of the branches, this late variety was visited on September the 9 th in Montélimar.
